Dear 3A children,

Do remember to:

Administrative/Housekeeping Matters

1. Sign Spelling 8. Please make it a habit to sign your spelling consistently.
2. Complete corrections (if any) for Spelling 9 (you should have done peer-marking that day). Please do your corrections neatly on the other side of your spelling. You should know what to do by now, I've shown you many good examples done by your classmates.

Homework (Animals)

1. Complete Activity 9: Grouping Animals
2. Draw a mindmap to summarise the topic on animals in your Nature Study Book. Do think about how the 6 animal groups (Reptiles, Amphibians, Fish, Insects, Mammals and Birds) are similar and/or different from each other. Use comparison words like "Both...and" to compare similarities and  "But"/"While"/"whereas" for comparing differences.

Homework (Materials): 

Mrs Tan had gone through some 3A notes under the KF Materials view. You are tasked to:

1. Write down some words that are mentioned in the notes in your Nature Study Book, for example, words like stiff, hard, strong, flexible, magnet and so on.
2. Find out the meaning of these words and how are they related to Materials.

Make sure you get all these things done and ready when I see you on Wednesday. Till then!

Science Homework (11/3)

Dear 3A,

Do remember to complete the 2 sets of homework assigned:

1) SA1 Practice Paper (2): Booklet A (Q1 - 26 ONLY). We will complete the remaining questions AFTER we have learnt more on Materials.

2) Activity 8: Animals. Complete all 4 pages

3) Post notes (using the first 2 scaffolds) on the Materials view and read up on your classmates' notes too.

Do remember our next spelling will be on Wednesday, 16 April instead as our usual spelling day falls on a Good Friday. Do remember to study for it.
