Questions on Diversity

Hello 3A,

I have looked through your Nature Study Book and I read many interesting ideas that you know and want to understand. I'm happy to see many of you reading your textbooks on Chapter 1 - Classification, as standard answers like living things need air, food and water to grow and reproduce are given. All of you are not wrong to say that, of course. But how many of you can explain big terms like "reproduce" and "characteristics" in your own words and truly understand them?

I hope from last Friday lesson, you learnt to appreciate more on learning from others. By adding on to the answers given by your classmates or even asking more questions (What I Want to Understand), our perspective will be widen. Remember, we have to think like scientists!

Don't worry if you do not really understand or know the term "Knowledge Building". You will learn and pick up the skills along the way.

Science assignment (blog responses) will be up by the end of next week, 17 January. This will give us more time to discuss on Classification and read up on it.
